Fish n Chips, Cupcakes and a Carousel?! Nomarama Tours Hampton, Va
Moving to the 757 [some 16 years ago👀] I learned quickly that there were 7 different cities🏙. It was always interesting to hear locals talking down on the area and saying things like,
“It’s boring here, or there is nothing to do…” but I was having the time of my life exploring and discovering all these new places! I remember saying to those same people,
“If you can’t find something to do in 7 different cities then maybe YOU are the problem, bruh!” Long story short after that I formed Nomarama! 🙌🏾
All these years as I’ve predominantly lived in Norfolk and VB and have made trips to other cities like Suffolk, Chesapeake & Ptown.
While I eventually had clients in Hampton I’d make the trip but I never actually had time to fully explore… until recently thanks to @visithamptonva 😀
I repeat… if you live in the 7 cities and are sticking to strictly one of them, you are doing yourself a serious injustice.
Each of the cities has it own vibe & energy and deserves to be tapped in.
Like Hampton and the Phoebus area‼️
For example, the Phoebus area and Mallory St. Delicious local restaurants like @fullersrawbar , local sweet shops like @scratch_bakery , museums, parks and all that!
I bet you didn’t know there was even a NASA Air & Space Museum 🚀😮
Or, how about one of the oldest 🎠 carousels in the country!
Oooor even a historical land-marker that notates where the first enslaved Africans were brought in America!!
