In this episode, we take you on a stunning sunset walking tour of Istanbul’s iconic Galata Bridge.
Starting from the Karaköy seaside, we make our way to the bridge, where you’ll experience breathtaking views of the Golden Horn (Haliç) as the sun sets over the city.
The walk on top of Galata Bridge offers a panoramic look at the Haliç, with its historic connection between Europe and Asia, and the shimmering sea below.
After crossing the bridge, we arrive in Eminönü, famous for its delicious seafood spots, especially the iconic fish sandwiches (balık ekmek) sold near the seaside.
We give you a glimpse of this bustling culinary tradition before heading back to walk the other side of the bridge, capturing more of the city’s magic as we conclude our tour.
The weather was perfect, around 22°C (71.6°F) at 17:20, making for a comfortable and scenic journey across one of Istanbul's most well-known landmarks.

Galata Bridge:
This bridge has been a central point in Istanbul for centuries, connecting Karaköy to Eminönü across the Golden Horn.

Golden Horn (Haliç):

The Golden Horn’s name is said to come from the golden reflections of the sunsets over the water.
