ANGER FOOT VR is Awesome! Play Any UNITY GAME in VR?! // UUVR Mod
We all know about the UEVR mod but have you heard about the UUVR mod?! UEVR lets us play Unreal Engine VR games (specifically Unreal Engine 4 and 5) in VR, it's an amazing piece of software that gets better with every release. The UUVR mod is attempting to do the same thing but for Unity games, this new VR mod is still in its infancy but already it can create some incredible results and this test of Anger Foot in VR is a perfect example of that. The Unity Universal VR mod is being developed by Raicuparta, the developer behind the VR mods for Stanley Parable, The Outer Wilds, Neon White and more, he has experience working with Unity previously and now wants to take things to the next level. The UUVR mod isn't as fleshed out as UEVR and it currently creates a very simple VR injection BUT even without things like motion controls, decoupled pitch and highly adjustable settings it's still able to give us fully realised 3D versions of Unity games with gorgeous scale and depth that run like a dream.
You can download the Rai-Pal mod loader here, it's a piece of software that scans your PC, identifies your Unity engine games and then allows you to install the necessary files to play them in VR. Some will no doubt run worse than Anger Foot VR and others will likely run better, it's a game of testing right now to see what works but it's looking promising so far: https://github.com/Raicuparta/rai-pal
Anger Foot is an INCREDIBLE Hot Line Miami style game that challenges players to kick their way through levels filled with badguys and in VR it's an intense, high octane experience. I'd love to see motion controls implemented into this in the future!
