The Institut Henri Poincaré, home of mathematicians and theoretical physicists
The Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP) is an international research centre in Paris. It has been a cherished home for mathematicians and theoretical physicists for almost a century. Faithful to the ambition of its founders, it has open to the society over the years. It is now expanding to the opposite building, which means more space for research activities, and the opening of a maths museum called Maison Poincaré.

Centre de recherche international, l’IHP est la maison des mathématiciennes, mathématiciens, physiciens et physiciens depuis près d’un siècle. Fidèle à son héritage, il s’est ouvert à la société au fil des années et s’agrandit maintenant au bâtiment d’en face. Vous y trouverez de nouveaux espaces dédiés à la recherche, ainsi qu’un musée des mathématiques ouvert à tous les publics : la Maison Poincaré.
