Danita Harris joins WKYC as 'GO!' morning anchor starting Monday, April 8
WKYC Studios is excited to announce that longtime Cleveland news anchor Danita Harris is joining 3News’ “GO!” morning team starting Monday, April 8. A powerful presence in Northeast Ohio for almost 25 years, Danita will co-anchor "GO!" alongside Dave Chudowsky and Senior Meteorologist Matt Wintz every weekday from 5-7 a.m. She will also deliver exclusive interviews and create special content throughout all 3News broadcasts.
Danita comes to 3News after a brief retirement from WEWS and a storied and successful career at the ABC affiliate.
“I've been given such a great opportunity to work in television because it connects me to people. Here at 3News, they're already doing that," Harris says. "They have great journalism and a deep commitment to community, to making a difference in people's lives. It aligns with who I am as a person. It is my passion, it is my profession, and it is my purpose. And I can't think of a better place to do it than right here at WKYC."
