Tiny DSLR shoots like film
This is one of my favorite CCD DSLRs of all time, and it's a special camera in a few ways. The Olympus E-300 has a Kodak made CCD sensor, one of the few more modern DSLRs that's also not a medium format camera but something you can actually afford. Some photographers are really into photographing specifically with Kodak CCD sensors. I don't know if it's really THAT different than other CCD sensors, but I can say it is very, very lovely.
It's also quite compact. In part because of the smaller sensor size, but also it lacks a prism. It's a DSLR, but uses a complex mirror system to do all the work instead. It's quite cool actually. And with the 25mm f2.8 pancake lens, The Olympus E-300 is one of the smallest DSLRs I've ever used.
And I can't help but invest more of my time photographing with this camera. It's extremely rewarding and very fun to shoot with.
