We wanted to share a really inventive method that Barbara Ransom came up with for getting liquid out of the headphone jack. She shared it in the comments section below: "You can try using a piece of cord or take some thread and twist several loops of it and tie it in a knot then put it into the port and let it absorb the water. It worked getting antifreeze out of mine... It was the drawstring on a small cloth pouch."
