New Honkai Game Revives Genshin's Dead Characters
A new Honkai game by Hoyoverse is in development, combining elements from Baldur’s Gate and Pokémon, with a CRPG style and pet nurturing mechanics. Leaks from 2023 revealed visuals of the game, which features deceased characters from Genshin Impact. Two such characters resemble Clervie, Arlecchino’s childhood friend, and Tomo, Kazuha’s friend. The game is set in a modern town with fantasy elements, and players may be able to tame pets. Visuals may use the new engine shown in the Honkai Impact 3rd 6.5 livestream, which wasn’t used in HI3 Part 2.
