The future of English voice actors in Genshin Impact is looking bleak due to the ongoing strike and lengthy contract talks, with no clear end in sight. This situation will affect upcoming updates, leading to more characters without voices. The strike is crucial for voice actors to gain protection so that companies cannot copy their voices and use them without permission or payment. During Nahida's birthday event, we noticed that only a few characters, like Paimon, Cyno, Wanderer, and some NPCs, had voices, while many others did not because their voice actors are on strike. This strike is also causing financial difficulties for the voice actors. For instance, Paimon’s voice actor is currently facing money struggles because of the strike.
