Sollving 3D structures can be computationally expensive. Classical Laminated Plate theory allows us to solve problems where the skin of the structural is significantly thin compared to the other dimensions (e.g., aircraft skin). In this lecture, we will learn how these equations are derived, and how to consider hygrothermal effects.
