On WWF Raw is War this week The Rock has finally come to terms with not headlining WrestleMania 2000. With a new "nothing to lose" attitude, the People's Champion goes after Triple H and The Big Show, causing Stephanie and Shane McMahon to book Rock into a steel cage main event against Chris Benoit. Elsewhere on the show Kurt Angle defends his IC Championship against Chris Jericho, and D-Generation X take on Too Cool
WCW Nitro continues it's downward spiral with another rough show. The Wall gets heavily featured this week, taking out David Flair (on David's 21st Birthday, no less) and finding himself booked in the Nitro main event thanks to Jeff Jarrett. Terry Funk also brings a chicken to Nitro while claiming it to be Dustin Rhodes' younger brother... the insanity of WCW 2000 continues on.
