How To Create Hard Drive Partitions On Windows 10 And Why?
In this video we will see how to partition a hard drive on a Windows 10 Operating System.
Mostly everyone has C:\ drive where OS is installed and people tends to keep Data files on Downloads, Desktop, Documents or Pictures (because that make things easy?), these data get stored in C:\ drive only, so to avoid these data loss when you format your C:\ drive(where the OS is installed), create another disk partition and store all those data files in that Drive(E:\ or F:\ etc.. anything you want).
Partitioning the hard disk also makes it possible to multiboot different operating systems. In addition to creating multiboot configurations, you can also use partitions as extra storage mediums for specific files or for backing up important files.
You can also create partition and install your programs (Software) in that partition (other than OS installed drive) and you don't have to worry if your OS crashes or get corrupted, all your data file sand programs are safe, you just have to fix the OS and everything will be back to what it was before.
