Howto list all connected USB devices in the Linux terminal
It might occur that you connect a #USB device to your #linux system and nothing happens. In that case "lsusb" is very useful to check if the device was recognized by your system. Take also a look at the "-t" param for tree view.
$~ lsusb -t
