To begin, if you are in need of looping a video in Davinci Resolve, follow these simple steps. First, add the desired video to your timeline. If you want to loop the playback preview, just click on the loop button at the bottom of the viewer. Now, let's proceed with looping the actual video.
Here's the trick: hold down the alt key and drag the video to the right, effectively creating a duplicate of it. Right-click on the duplicate video and choose "change clip speed". Confirm that the reverse speed option is checked, then click on "change". Voila! Your video is now looped once. If you want to loop it even more, simply select both videos and, while holding down the alt key, drag them to the right to create duplicates of each.
