Grip strength is something that is extremely important in life, especially as you get older. Not only can a strong grip help keep hold of a weapon in a self defense situation (for example holding onto a blood covered knife or gun). A good solid grip can also help prevent serious injury if you happen to slip or fall. Bracing yourself by holding onto a guard rail, a door handle or rope.
