Robert Mitchum in A Family For Joe
Opening credits to Mitchum's short-lived sitcom from 1990. Only 9 episodes were ever shot. All the child actors from the tv pilot were recast except the youngest who played Mary. You'll recognize Ben Savage from Boy Meets World, David Lascher from Blossom and Juliette Lewis who strangely enough went on to play Bowden's daughter in Scorsese's Cape Fear remake just one year later.
The credits are interspersed with shots from the tv movie, which is a much better version of the story. Without Mitchum, the show falls into all the early 90's sitcom cliches.
