"For You" is a song about celebration. Celebrating the skin you're in, celebrating what makes you unique and beautiful. Sydney wrote “For You” during the height of the BLM movement in 2020. She felt that the media was constantly sharing negative images of the black community and decided to make a song to highlight what makes us special and beautiful.
