DesignEuropa Awards 2021: Eindhoven Edition
This year’s #DesignEuropa Awards ceremony took place in the Dutch capital of design, Eindhoven, at the spectacular EVOLUON.
The eight finalists, chosen from hundreds of submissions, showed us all what great design is all about – Style, functionality and innovation.
Relio², the winner of the Small and Emerging Companies category, is a product that embodies great design. It is modular, compact yet allows ease of use and seamless integration. Its focused, yet natural coloured beam of light, illuminates its subject beautifully.
The award for best design in the industry category, went to Philips for their IntelliVue X3 mobile health monitor. The IntelliVue X3 provides health professionals with a clear and detailed display that can be detached from its housing, for safe and secure transport with patients throughout any health care facility.
André Ricard, from Spain, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for a successful career that has served as an inspiration to generations of designers.
