SummerSlam 1999, billed as an "Out Of Body Experience", took place in Minneapolis on August 22nd. Jesse "The Body" Ventura is here tonight, and he's going to officiate a WWF Championship match pitting champion Stone Cold Steve Austin against Triple H and Mankind. The road to this title match had many twists and turns, but it all ends at SummerSlam in this main event triple threat match.
Elsewhere on the card The Rock looks to end his rivalry with Billy Gunn. The Big Show and Undertaker (known together as the Unholy Aliiance) face X-Pac and Kane, and Steve Blackman steps into the Lion's Den in a match against Ken Shamrock.
