🚪 Switch Configuration: Next, we'll configure the switch by setting up a routed port on the switch port that connects to the router. This involves removing any existing configurations, such as VLAN assignments and trunking, and assigning an IP address to the port. 🖧
🔄 Testing Connectivity: Once configured, we'll test connectivity by pinging between the switch and the router. Successful pings indicate that the routed port setup is functioning correctly. 🔍
📚 Understanding Routing: While connectivity between the switch and router is established, it's essential to note that the router may not be aware of the networks beyond the switch.
