Have You Winter River Rafted the Beautiful Jordan River in Northern Michigan?
A first for Smallz and I - we winter rafted down the beautiful Jordan River in Northern Michigan with some friends. It was peaceful, serene, tranquil, relaxing… I need more words that describe this wonderful feeling. And, it was so incredibly beautiful.
We saw a mink and deer but sadly not on film. But the woods and snow and crystal clear waters were amazing. All from our bright yellow river raft. This is not sponsored - but I must say how wonderful the Jordan Valley Outfitters’ guide and services were. They thought of everything - even hot cocoa and little cookies during our break in the woods. And I learned so much from the guide (Brian aka Koz) about the woods, animals, and ecology while we rafted. The guide controls the raft so we were free to take pictures and enjoy the sounds and scenery - which you’ll see in this video.
