How to Delete Messenger Account
To Delete your messenger account, First, open the Messenger app
now tap your profile photo in the top left corner
Now scroll down and Tap Account Settings
Then scroll down to tap account ownership and control in your information section
Tap deactivation and deletion
Here it says to delete your messenger,
First you have to premanetly delete your Facebook account.
Then tap, continue to Facebook account deactivation and deletion
Select Delete Account
Tap Continue to Account Deletion
Here you don't need to provide any reason
Just tap continue to account deletion
Here I don't want to deactivate my account
Then if you want, you can download a copy of your information
Now tap delete account
Then enter your password to confirm
Tap Continue
then just tap delete account
