Meet our Chancellor: Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE
Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE, joined the University of Leicester as Chancellor on 1 March 2023.
A successful space scientist, broadcaster and author, you might recognise Maggie as presenter of the BBC’s Sky at Night television show.
Maggie said: “I have made it my mission to inspire the next generation of scientists and educators. By becoming Chancellor of the University of Leicester, I can share the power of education and encourage people to come to the University too.“
