Blender 2.83 : Deleting Useless Animations & Materials (PROPERLY)
This is a very common question people learning Blender Animation ask, and it's been a problem in Blender for years because it's very, very, very un-intuitive. I really hope they completely re-haul this part of Blender, but until they do, I hope this answers any confusion you may have had on the issue :)
