Why Did They Change Miyabi's Face Model In Zenless Zone Zero
Miyabi’s character model in Zenless Zone Zero was updated following a wave of player feedback. Many players had previously criticized her 3D model, particularly the wide spacing of her eyes, which led to comparisons with Sid from Ice Age. While her 2D model was generally well-received, dissatisfaction with her 3D appearance prompted fans to create edited fan art to adjust her eyes. Recognizing this feedback, the developers decided to redesign her face model. In version 1.3, Miyabi now has sharper cheekbones and eyes set closer together. This change aims to increase player satisfaction and demonstrates the developers’ responsiveness to player concerns.
