Amazon FBA fees UK have always been based on the dimensions and weight of the product, however, Amazon has now introduced a new metric called dimensional weight.
To calculate the dimensional weight of a product, use the following formula:
(Length in CM x Width in CM x Height in CM)/5000 = Dimensional Weight in Kg.
This new metric means many lighter (but high volume) products now have substantially higher Amazon FBA costs. In some cases, Amazon FBA fees have more than doubled for some products.
