There are alot of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super fans that have never watched or read the original Dragon Ball Series, that are familiar with Korin, but do not know or understand who he is. By the time Dragon Ball Z started, Korin was little more than just the talking cat that grows senzu beans, however, he is infact a God.
He is the first God, the first Deity in Dragon Ball, that we were introduced to. The first to train goku.
Korin is the God of Martial Arts, one of the most power beings on earth... and he just happens to be a talking cat.
