Wild horses are an icon of the western USA. We have a lot of bands of horses in certain areas and as I was driving through Wyoming recently I stopped twice and photographed one of the bands outside of Farson, Wyoming. Wild horses technically are feral and all come from domestic stock, though I believe many of their genes are mixed with ice age horses that were still present when the Spanish Mustang was introduced into the Americas. I talk a little about this in this video and explain my reasoning.
Thanks for Watching and Happy Trails!
