In the 5th episode of the 1st season, we will listen to the story of the historical mosque Maradit Mosque in Muratlı Village in Borcka district of Artvin province.

The basic motto of this documentary is stories and we are happy to follow the true stories of history. Of course, every history has a story, as well as every person has stories that go down in history.
Every point of history is full of stories. In particular, Turkey does not have an inch of land that has not been the subject of legends and stories. one of them is the story of Maradit Mosque in Borcka district of Artvin.
Even the story of the establishment of the mosque makes one want to go to Borçka. The mosque, which is thought to have been built by Aslanoğlu Ahmed Usta between 1847 and 1864, was built entirely of wood on a rubble foundation.
We are grateful to those who protect history and historical artifacts. We would like to thank all the efforts made for the survival of the Maradit Mosque, the mosques in Borcka and the historical monuments in Artvin.
The mosque is a very important example among the late Ottoman period mosques with its rich local wood carving decorations. We invite you to see this visual feast alongside his stories and visit this historical monument.
