Dr. Shrikhande is passionate about this cause and dedicated to helping women and men with pelvic pain who often suffer without anyone willing to listen, understand or find the cause of their pain.

At Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, our pelvic pain specialists provide a functional, rehab approach to pelvic pain. When you visit one of our offices, you spend an hour with your doctor reviewing in detail your medical history and symptoms. Then, we perform an internal exam (no speculum) to evaluate your nerves and muscles. Together, we'll discuss an individual treatment plan that gets to the root cause of your pain and helps you to feel better. The best part: you can begin treatment the same day!

At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms.

Hi everyone. Dr. Ally here. So endometriosis has a profound effect on a woman's ability to not only go to work, but be productive at work. Fifty percent of women with endometriosis say they experience a decreased ability to go to work. Forty percent of women say they were denied a promotion because of having endometriosis and living with the disease. And I am proud to say, what are we going to do about this? We need to help our endometriosis patients continue to have a career and go to work. And I am, our data, pre and post treatment has been striking. So, 65 percent of patients, before we treat them, say that they miss zero days of work in the past three months after we treat patients 89.5%. So almost 90 percent of our patients after we've treated them are saying they've missed zero days of work due to their pelvic pain in the past three months. So we really are keeping our patients working, which is amazing to see.
