Welcome to this video where we will be learning how to use Google Sheets to get the sum of a dynamic array extracted from a two-dimensional table with columns for months 1 to 12 and for a particular row of IDS.

Our expert will be demonstrating two approaches to accomplish this task. In the first approach, he will be using the FILTER function to extract the values for each of the columns and then use the MATCH function inside the INDEX function to get the row ID index. This will give him the range to sum. Finally, he will use the SUM function to get the sum of the values.

In the second approach, our expert will be utilizing the SUMPRODUCT function to calculate the sum of the dynamic array. This method is more versatile and can handle larger and more complex datasets.

Throughout the video, Bob will take you through each step of both approaches, from setting up the table to computing the sum of the dynamic array. You will get to see the benefits and drawbacks of each approach and learn how to choose the best one based on the size and complexity of your dataset.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced Google Sheets user, this video will provide you with valuable insights into data manipulation using this powerful tool. So, sit back, relax, and let's dive into the world of data analysis with Google Sheets!
