Sacramento police called as lease for Camp Resolution ends
Sacramento police officers are at what was a self-governing homeless encampment as some people are refusing to move out on the day that a lease agreement with the city has expired. People on Monday have put up barbed wire and propane tanks to block the entrance of Camp Resolution located on Colfax Street in the north Sacramento area. Homeless advocacy group Safe Ground Sacramento announced in late July that it would end its lease agreement with the city.
