Resistor Trimmers & Soldering | Methods & Tips | on a PCB
A brief explanation of resistor trimmers, coding, and how to decode the resistance value or measure the resistance of the trimmer. There are many types of resistor trimmers for printed circuit boards or PCB's. I will show you how to mount and solder two types of resistor trimmers on a printed circuit board including some suggestions on how to prevent the device from falling out or moving around while soldering. The tutorial is well suited for the electronic / electrical technician, technologist, engineer, trades person, or home hobbyist that has no experience with electronic proto-typing. This video would be especially useful for the person assembling an electronic kit for the first time.
