Cubase Elements is packed full of features designed to inspire you to be more creative without breaking the bank. This video series is designed to help you take control of these creative tools.

Andy kicks the videos series off by running us through his minimalistic list of gear (mic, UR44 and a MIDI controller) and shows us how to set up a session and kicks the creative process off with some beats from Groove Agent SE 4. He gives us a quick tour of the instrument and drags a groove across to the project.

There are no rules for creativity but with the Chord Track, you can start anywhere, and up wherever on your own or use the included Circle of Fifths feature to follow an age-old compositional technique, you can even use it to create a musical score. Chord Track is perfect for any original song writing journey and the video demonstrates how to create a Chord Track and start using your mouse to compose any combination of musical ideas. You can use the Chord Track to drive instruments (HALion Sonic SE), arpeggiators, bass lines and chords. Let the Chord Track do all the work or take over when you need to. This is a comprehensive introduction to Cubase Elements so take your time with Video One before continuing the creative process over in the next video.
