To automatically transcribe audio in Davinci Resolve, follow these steps. First, add your video and audio files and create a timeline. Right-click on your audio, video, or timeline, and select the option for audio transcription to begin the process. Instead of manually transcribing the audio, save time by choosing to automatically transcribe audio in Davinci Resolve. Simply select your video and find the transcribe button located at the top of the media pool. With just a few clicks, Davinci Resolve will automatically transcribe the audio in a fast and efficient manner, providing you with accurate results in no time.
Once the audio has been transcribed, Davinci Resolve will generate a text representation of the spoken content. You have the flexibility to adjust the font size, change the theme, and search for specific terms within the transcription. By clicking on any word, you can easily navigate to the exact position in the video where it was spoken. Press the spacebar to play the video or select a specific range of text to play only that portion. Davinci Resolve also offers additional features such as the ability to insert or append selected video ranges into the timeline, create subclips, and mark selections with markers on the timeline. To correct any words in the transcription, simply double-click on the word, click on the pen icon, and input the correct text. Moreover, you can remove silent portions of the audio by clicking on the three dots button and selecting the remove silence option.
