Helsingborg is a city in Scania County, Sweden. Helsingborg sits along the coast, overlooking the Öresund Strait with Denmark just across the water. Helsingborg is less visited by tourists yet it serves as a transportation hub, with ferry connections to Helsingør, Denmark. The city has a relaxed atmosphere with a nice Marina and good opportunities to walk around.
We start our walking tour near the main bus station, walk to the town hall and up to the Kärnan. This striking medieval tower, Kärnan, is all that remains of a fortress - now a park.
Walking back down to the city center we get on the shopping streets, the marina and explore more of the quiet and empty city center until we reach our starting point again. Enjoy this relaxed walk in a smaller Swedish city.
Note: On this day I traveled from Copenhagen (https://www.youtube.com/results?searc...) and visited Malmö ( • MALMÖ, Sweden 🇸🇪 - 4K 60fps (UHD) ), Lund and finally Helsingborg by train. I returned to Copenhagen with the bus incl. the ferry during sunset, which was nice. A good day-trip!
