Remove sound from video | Tutorial
Let's say you'd like to remove audio or sound from your video, but you don't know how to do it.
Hello everyone, my name is Tim and in this video, I'll show you how this can be done in seconds, so let's get started.
In this example, we're going to VEED.IO. You can create an account for free. Or, click on the first link in the description to go straight to the website.
Once you're on the homepage, click on Upload Your Video. Then click on Upload a File. Select your video clip. I’ll use a video of my cat as an example. And click on Open. After a short moment, your video is imported.
Now, there a multiple ways to remove the sound...
First, you can click on the video file in the timeline. You’ll see an Edit Video menu pop up. Then, under Audio, you can regulate the volume in the video.
You can slide the slider all the way to the left to remove the sound. Or, simply click on the sound icon on the left to mute the video instantly.
You can even remove background noise and enhance the quality of the audio by clicking on Clean Audio, but it’s not needed for this example.
A second way to remove the audio is by using the options in the timeline. In the timeline menu, you’ll see the same sound icon.
Hover your mouse over it to change the volume of the video. And, once again, click on the sound icon to completely mute the video.
To download the muted video, click on export in the right top corner. Then, click on Export Video.
Once the video is rendered, click on Download MP4 to download the video to your device.
And that’s how quickly and easily remove sound from your video!
