UPDATE & NEW INFORMATION: Federal Government DID NOT Respond to Loss - Is Home Distilling NOW LEGAL?
The federal government lost a lawsuit brought by the Hobby Distillers Association (HDA). The HDA claimed that laws prevention distillation at home are unconstitutional and a judge agreed. However, the judge stayed his opinion for 14 days to allow for an immediate response by the federal government. The 14 days passed without a response, so the question is, is home distillation legal now? We've talked directly with one of the plaintiffs and have an update in this video.
