Method 1:
To run the Windows Update troubleshooter and identify any problems with your Windows updates, follow these steps:
Open the Start menu.
Click on Settings.
From the left-hand panel, select System Settings.
Scroll down on the right-hand side until you find the Troubleshoot option and click on it.
Next, select Other Troubleshooters.
Run the Windows Update troubleshooter.
If the troubleshooter detects any issues related to Windows updates, it will prompt you to rectify them.
Once the issues have been resolved (if any), click on the "Close" button to exit the troubleshooter.
Method 2:
To use the System File Checker tool to scan for and repair any corrupted files in Windows:
Open the Start menu.
In the search bar, type "cmd".
From the search results, select Command Prompt at the top.
Right-click on Command Prompt and click on "Run as administrator".
In the Command Prompt window, type "SFC /scan now" and press enter.
Wait until the verification process is 100% complete. Do not close the Command Prompt window during this time.
If the tool finds any corrupt files and successfully repairs them, you will see a message that says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them."
