Attempting the Red Bull landing in Flight Sim 2020
Inspired by the Red Bull stunt, I wanted to see how well this would work in Microsoft Flight Simulator, so I gave it my best. To complete this stunt I setup Microsoft Flight Simulator in Dubai near the Burj Al Arab Hotel. The helipad is only 27 meters wide on top of a 56 storey hotel. So there was no room for error. The flight was conducted with the Cubcrafters NXCub, which is the tri-wheel version of the Cubcrafters XCub.
My hat goes off to the pilot of Red Bull, Luke Czepiela, who landed this in real life. Takes a lot of skill and a huge amount of courage.
