Pfsense 101 - v2.4 - part 2 - setup carp and ha sync between 2 pfsenses
configure 1 pfsense as the master and as the backup. both vms will use carp with a shared ip and start a heartbeat to determine their master. in case the master goes down the backup will take over the traffic.
thanks to the syncing the pfsense sync all users/vpns/firewall states etc from the master to the backup, this allows us to administrate pfsense by only applying most changes to the master ( unless they are device specific such as the network interface settings etc )
