Now, I know a lot of people know about this, but there are still quite a few people that don't, so that's why I've decided to make a quick video. You'd be surprised how many people are still adding 5, 10, or even15 photos at one time on Instagram.
They end up flooding their followers feeds, and that can discourage people from even following your account.
So the best thing to do in that regard is to add multiple photos at one time and share them in a single post over the course of a day.
The first thing we want to do is click this plus sign, then you're going to choose the first photo or video that you're going to add for your multiple photos.
Next, you're going to click on the multiple photo icon to indicate that you're going to be adding multiple photos to this post.
The first photo or video will automatically be added from your camera roll, you can either choose that one or another photo or video that will be the first image to appear as the cover image.
After that, you can select the rest of your images and the order, indicated by the numbers. Once you have the order of the photos that you want to add to your post, click “next”.
On this screen, you have a couple of different options. You can choose to apply the same filter on every single photo by just clicking on one the filters.
Now, say for instance you want to share the post and want to have different filters on each image, you can do that by clicking on the filter icon on each of the photos.
Once you've decided on a filter for a single image click “done”. Swipe left and do the same thing with the next photos. Each time you want to click done.
On the next screen, you can add your captions, tag people and add your location as normal if you like. The only downside on this is that the caption that you write, it's going to appear on all of the photos. So that's a slight downside to this.
Once you've done that, you'll click share. I hope this helped you in terms of adding multiple photos to one particular post on Instagram.
If you've got more than 10 photos, maybe 20 or 30, what I would do is put them in blocks of 10 each and I would share one of those posts throughout the course of the day so that you're not sharing these posts back to back to back.
This feature is great for sharing events and special occasions.
