Part 7 of 7, of a playthrough of "Socrates Jones: Pro Philosopher". Socrates Jones wonders if it is impossible to know the nature of morality. The Arbiter accepts that as Socrates' final answer and rejects it. Socrates finds himself in a metaphysical argument about the ability to know morality.

Socrates shows that the Arbiter has confused "morality can be known" with "morality exists". He further shows that the Arbiter has confused "infinite" with "all-encompassing".

The Arbiter then refers to the fact that the original Socrates was able to discover the nature of morality. The other philosophers join the discussion. Socrates alludes to Euthyphro's point that sentient beings occasionally make mistakes. It's possible that the original Arbiter was mistaken, when he approved the original Socrates' answer.

The Arbiter claims that, if we can never truly know the nature of morality, then all philosophical discussion is pointless. Socrates refers to Mill's belief that something which creates happiness is good. Something can be good, even if it is not perfect! In the same way, a philosophical argument can be good, even if it is not a perfect argument. Something that is incorrect can still have a positive influence on the world.

The Arbiter accepts Socrates' argument. The true identity of the Arbiter is revealed, and Socrates is allowed to return to the world of the living.
