Welcome to our YouTube video on using IF, AND, and OR functions in Google Sheets! In this tutorial, we will show you how to efficiently analyze data and automate the flagging process based on specific conditions.

Google Sheets is a powerful tool that allows you to organize and manipulate data effectively. By combining the IF, AND, and OR functions, you can easily determine whether the absolute variance between the actual and budgeted values meets certain criteria and flag it accordingly.

In this example, we will demonstrate how to identify "Good" or "Bad" cases based on the absolute variance and the department being either "Finance" or "HR". When the absolute variance is calculated as (actual minus budget), we will check if it falls under specific conditions.

By utilizing the IF function, we can set up conditional statements to evaluate the variance and department simultaneously. Then, with the AND function, we ensure that both conditions are met. Additionally, the OR function allows us to include multiple departments in the evaluation process.

Once the conditions are met, the result will be "Bad" for cases where the absolute variance meets the criteria and the department is either "Finance" or "HR". In all other cases, it will be flagged as "Good".

Our tutorial will guide you through the step-by-step process of setting up these functions in Google Sheets. We will explain the logic behind each function and provide practical examples to help you understand and implement this concept effectively.
