Tour de France 121 | Part 4: Bordeaux to Paris🛩️🚴
Welcome to the final part of our journey following the 1903 Tour de France. Tonight, we'll be focusing on stages 5 and 6 of the inaugural race. Our route will take us from Bordeaux to Paris, with a few stops along the way.
Stage 5 of the 1903 Tour de France covered a distance of 425 kilometres and the 6th and final stage took the riders from Nantes to Paris, covering an impressive 471 kilometres. This stage was the longest and arguably the most challenging, as the riders pushed through their fatigue to reach the finish line in the French capital.
We set out from Bordeaux Airport LFBD and over fly Cognac LFBG and head to La Rochelle LFBH for our first stop. Next up we over fly Nantes LFRS and Angers Marce LFJR before making our second stop at Tours Val De Loire Airport LFOT. From here we continue on over Orleans LFOJ and Chartres Metropole LFOR before reaching the French capital, fly under the Eiffel Tower and make a full stop landing at Paris Orly LFPO.
Route: LFBD - LFBG - LFBH* - LFRS - LFJR - LFOT* - LFOJ - LFOR - LFPO* ( * = full stop landings)
