HAND SPUN SWEATER UPDATE – DYEING
I used the color CYAN from Mother Mackenzie's Miracle Dye Mix on the Clemes and Clemes website. https://clemes.com/product/mother-mac...
I used a 1% solution to dye the handspun yarn.
I spun the yarn using WAM (wool, alpaca, mohair) roving from Get Bentz Farm. https://getbentzfarm.com/
FINISHED OBJECT 19TH CENTURY SPIRAL TOES
The toe is from The Encyclopedia of Needlework by Therese de Dillmont, New Edition, Revised and Englarged. Originally published in the 1890s, it was translated and reprinted many times and is widely available used.
