the famous BOBOVR S3 Pro Head-strap for Meta Quest 3.
They say it’s the best of its kind, lets see if there’s some truth up in this lovely box.
After removing some excess paper we get the headstrap, the little box with the small type-C cable and the battery, and this rubber back-pad.
The head-strap itself feels nice and robust. It can bend and the weight is acceptable.
On the front we see the cooling fan, on the side we got the LCD screen and the power rocker, and on the back we got the size adjustment wheel and the battery slot.
Its very easy to remove the stock head-strap and to install this one instead.
This 4800mAh battery is quite beefy and not so light.
It easily snaps in its place. With the LCD screen we can see the battery level.
Press the wheel to turn on the fan. Now we can also control the fan speed.
Overall whoever said it’s the best head-strap, wasn’t lying.
Even though it adds some weight to your headset, It is exceptionally comfortable to wear, put on, and remove. The fan helps a little to cool down your forehead, but if you have a lot of hair on your head, it may be a problem.
