January presented an opportunity to step away from my routine videos and try something new! 🚀 Enter Karol, a no-nonsense high-achiever navigating the world of video creation in a series that merges education with entertainment. 🕵️♀️
Over a week, I scripted, filmed and edited a short daily episode of 'Karol' for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, each unravelling Karol's adventures – from falling into the editing vortex to presidential Zoom glow-ups!
Despite a modest collective view count of 18k, for me, the true victory lies in engagement. Your responses, comments, and even a plea from teenage fans not to end the series warmed my heart! 🤩 While the numbers may not scream 'viral,' the quality of interaction is priceless.
Filmed solely on iPhone 13 and 14, mostly using Cinematic Mode, one LED light, and NO mic (yes, you read that right!), I relied on Adobe Podcast Enhance to magically improve the audio. Imperfect, but it saved hours and served well for socials. 📱 I edited with Adobe Premiere Pro and used the Captions App for subtitles.
Now, the journey takes a turn to YouTube as I've compiled the 5 episodes into one season!
