Story:
The obvious pairing was InuXKik, but I wanted to try something a little different.
Kana searches for Kagura but finds only her fan weapon. Realizing she isn’t coming back she resigns herself to life without her mentor and friend. When Naraku’s latest incarnation tells her that Naraku has a job for her to do.
Feeling numb she sets to her task creating a mirror demon to kill Naraku’s enemies. When he arrives to stay with her she is saddened that he is not Kagura. She takes the damage allowing the mirror demon to fight longer and uses her memories of Kagura to keep herself focused.
Eventually, she takes too much damage and can’t repair the mirror demon anymore, upon an angered Naraku’s orders she stands with him in front of Inuyasha, sure she was going to die by his hand but he tells her to run and that he has no desire to see her dead. Which shocks her.
Naraku refuses to allow her retreat and forces her to shatter in a last-ditch effort to kill them in the resulting blast. Kana dies without so much as wounding any of them but joins Kagura in death.
