Peru Cycle Adventure 2024 | Part 15 | The Peru Divide Day 1 Conococha | 4K
Peru cycle tour #15. Today we started the second phase of our Peru cycle tour as we are now on the Peru Divide and probably our most picturesque wild camp ever!
We started the day in Chavin and were driven in a minibus to Conococha. Just the minibus ride itself was spectacular as we drove over a 4516m pass with the statue of Cristo Blanco at the top.
We then quickly loaded the bikes and set off along the Peru Divide. We only cycled a few kilometres before setting our tent up on the high planes with spectacular views. The lighting up here at sunset was amazing and I hope the film can do it justice.
Tomorrow we set off on a new adventure along the divide.
